The SDN Explained – Under the Radar Conference

Security on Demand: Providing a High Level of Protection for Online Data Storage Without Inconveniencing the User - (registration required)

This solutions brief, written by Bob Laliberte in September 2007, examines how Nirvanix helps accelerate Web 2.0 and online backup applications using a B2B approach. There are several challenges facing Web 2.0 applications today, but Nirvanix helps those companies avoid these road blocks and accelerate their time to market.

This in-depth analysis, written by Marc Staimer, President & CDS of Dragon Slayer Consulting in June 2008, examines how the pricing and performance economics of the Nirvanix Storage Delivery Network versus In-house Storage. In regards to several use cases Cloud Storage, and specifically, the Nirvanix Storage Delivery Network, will cost about 1/5 the price of in-house storage.
Abstract: “An apples-to-apples cost comparison shows that Tier 2 monthly burdened cost per GB ranges from approximately 500% more than Nirvanix Cloud Storage to as much as 550% more for 3 copies of the data.
